Murray is a village in Cass County, Nebraska, with a population of 480 at the 2020 census (up from 463 in 2010). It was platted in 1891 along the Missouri Pacific Railroad and was earlier known as "Fairview." The current name honors Rev. George Murray, an early pioneer settler in the area.
