Rockville is a small village in eastern Sherman County, Nebraska, platted in 1886 along the route of the Union Pacific Railroad and named for nearby Rock Creek. It remains one of the smallest incorporated communities in the county.
With fewer than 100 residents, Rockville is a tiny railroad-era village whose population has continued to decline, but it remains an active, incorporated part of Sherman County.
