Manley, Nebraska
Manley is a village in Cass County, Nebraska, with a population of 167 at the 2020 census (down from 191 in 2000). The site was established in 1883 along the Missouri Pacific Railroad, though the village did not formally incorporate until 1954. It was earlier known as "Summit," and its later name is generally attributed to a local cattleman named Manley.
History
Manley School, a 1931 Craftsman-style building, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. The village is also home to the Lofte Community Theatre, a local performing-arts venue.
