Owasco is a former Union Pacific station in Kimball County, on US 30 about 4 miles east of Kimball and 5 miles west of Dix.
History
According to Nebraska Place-Names, the station took its name from the nearby Circle Arrow Ranch company, the "O" standing for the circle of its brand. Owasco appears on the 1912 county map, and the 1921 county history counted it among the county's smaller centers. The Geological Survey still lists it as a place on the railroad; no town remains.
