Huntsman is a small unincorporated community in Cheyenne County, roughly five miles south of Sidney, whose post office operated for fifteen years between 1919 and 1934.
Documentation on Huntsman is thin — its name origin has not been recorded — but the community appears on a 1945 county atlas naming the surrounding Huntsman, Brownson, and Sidney townships, and its name persisted afterward in oil-industry references to the local "Huntsman Field," suggesting it lived on as a geographic landmark even after the post office closed.
