Octavia is a village in Bone Creek Township, Butler County, Nebraska. With a population of approximately 107 (2020), Octavia is a small farming community in southeastern Butler County.

History

Octavia was established in 1887 when the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad was extended to that point. The village was named for Octavia Speltz, a pioneer settler. A post office served the community from 1888 until it closed in 1996.

Community
