Lebanon

Lebanon is a village in Red Willow County, Nebraska, platted in 1887 when the Burlington & Missouri River Railroad extended to the site. The village takes its name from the biblical "Cedars of Lebanon."

With only 46 residents at the 2020 Census, Lebanon is the smallest incorporated village in Red Willow County. In 1955, the village drew brief international attention when its delegate to a "sister Lebanons" conference was killed in a border incident near Jerusalem.
