Snyder, Nebraska

Snyder is a village in Dodge County platted in 1886 when the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad extended into the area, named for Conrad Schneider, the original owner of the town site. The village formally incorporated in 1890.

The 2020 census recorded 254 residents. Snyder is the birthplace of Oswald Hoffmann, a prominent Lutheran radio minister of the mid-20th century, born there in 1913.
