Danbury

Danbury is a small village in Red Willow County, Nebraska, established with a post office in 1888 and formally incorporated as a village in 1898. It takes its name from Danbury, Connecticut, the former hometown of the community's first postmaster.

With just 80 residents at the 2020 Census, Danbury is one of the smallest incorporated villages in the county. Its old railroad depot has been preserved and converted into a small local museum.
