Strausville, spelled Straussville in most sources, was a small place in Richardson County about 3.7 miles north-northwest of Falls City. It was named for Gustave Strauss, on whose land it was laid out.

A post office called Straussville opened in 1899, and the town was platted in 1901; the post office closed in 1912. Little else is documented, and no remains or markers are known.
