Ponca State Park covers roughly 2,100 acres on a bluff overlooking the Missouri National Recreational River, with camping, cabins, over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, a fishing pond, and an interpretive center on Missouri River and Lewis and Clark Expedition history.

Ponca State Park is situated in the picturesque Missouri River bluffs in northeastern Nebraska, Ponca State Park is the eastern gateway to the 59-mile section of the Missouri National Recreational River, one of two picturesque, unchannelized stretches of the river bordering Nebraska.
