The Women's Suffrage Legacy of Courage Park, beside the Hebron Secrest Library at 146 N. 4th St. in Hebron, honors the Hebron suffrage movement. Editor Erasmus Correll of the Hebron Journal brought Susan B. Anthony to town in 1877 and Elizabeth Cady Stanton in 1879, and the Thayer County Woman Suffrage Association, organized on April 15, 1879, was the first in Nebraska.
