The limestone Congregational church at Randolph and H streets in Weeping Water was built in 1870–71. It housed Weeping Water Academy from 1885 to 1914 and the public library from 1917 to 2011. With the Heritage House and Dr. Fate's office it forms the Weeping Water Historic District, listed on the National Register in 1972, and a History Nebraska marker stands on Randolph St. The Weeping Water Valley Historical Society now cares for the building.
