The Washington County Fair is held at 23656 US Highway 30 in Arlington, and runs the final Friday in July through the following Wednesday, an unusual six-day span that ends midweek with the livestock auction and the demolition derby. In between come the Bell Creek rodeo, Thrill Zone carnival rides, a parade, mud volleyball, agricultural olympics, a tractor and pickup pull, a 4-H pancake feed, a farmers market and nightly live music in the beer garden.
