Wasenek Weekend is held in Kenesaw, Nebraska, on the first weekend of August (Friday and Saturday).

Friday night fireworks at the ballfield, a Saturday morning parade, a Saturday night street dance on Main Street, a rat race, volleyball, and community meals and games.
