Skyview Park, 1900 W. Maple Ave. in Norfolk, is a 175-acre city park around a lake of about 50 acres, with two boat ramps (no gas motors; electric trolling motors allowed), two rock jetties and an accessible 100-foot fishing pier. It has a state-accredited arboretum, a disc golf course (since 2002), a cross-country course, six shelters, a bandstand, a playground and just over 2½ miles of concrete trail, including a 1.8-mile loop around the lake. Big Bang Boom is held here over the Fourth of July.
