The Saunders County Fair is held at 635 East 1st Street in Wahoo from late July into early August. Its rodeo is a curiosity worth knowing about: the PRCA rodeo is hosted by the Wahoo Saddle Club rather than the fair board, and it runs in the days immediately before the fair proper opens, reaching its 71st annual edition in 2026. Mutton bustin’ and drill team performances run alongside it. The fair itself carries 4-H and open class competition across beef, dairy, swine, sheep, poultry, rabbits, horses and goats, plus archery, tractor driving, fashion and dog shows. The midway is run by the Saunders County Amusement Association, a local carnival organization. The 2027 fair runs July 25 to August 1.
