Rock County Driver License Office

The Rock County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 400 State St, Bassett. It is open on selected Thursdays only, 9:30 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:30 - the DMV publishes the dates for each year, so check the current list before setting out. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 4:00 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Rock County Treasurer at 400 State Street, P.O. Box 367, telephone 402-684-3515 - not at this office.
