Description

Nebraska historical marker No. 473 stands at the entrance to Pleasant Hill Cemetery on County Road HH, half a mile west of County Road 1600, about 4½ miles south-southeast of Dorchester. Erected in 2009, it tells the story of Pleasant Hill, the county seat from 1871 until 1878, when Wilber took the records by wagon train. The town stood in the valley to the east.
