Electricity in Oxford is supplied by the town rather than by a private company or a rural power district. Connections, billing and outage calls are handled at the village office, Box 385, 326 Ogden Ave., on 308-824-3511. Nebraska is the only state where every electricity customer is served by a publicly owned utility, so there are no investor-owned power companies here.
