The Oglala National Grassland encompasses over 94,000 acres of rugged badlands and mixed-grass prairie in northwestern Nebraska, managed by the U.S. Forest Service. It includes the otherworldly Toadstool Geologic Park, fossil beds, wildlife viewing, hiking, horseback riding, and primitive camping near Chadron.
