Nuckolls County Driver License Office

The Nuckolls County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 150 S Main, Nelson. It is open on selected Tuesdays only, 9:15 - 12:00, 12:30 - 4:00 - the DMV publishes the dates for each year, so check the current list before setting out. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 12:30 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Nuckolls County Treasurer at 150 South Main Street, PO Box 363, telephone 402-225-4351 - not at this office.
