Mutual of Omaha (Corporate Headquarters)

The corporate headquarters of Mutual of Omaha, Nebraska's flagship insurance company and one of the best-known names the state has produced. Founded in Omaha in 1909 as the Mutual Benefit Health and Accident Association, it is a mutual company owned by its policyholders, with around $55 billion in statutory assets and more than 6.7 million policies in force. It has sponsored Wild Kingdom since the program first aired in 1963. In 2026 policyholders voted to reorganize the company into a mutual holding company structure.
