The Lancaster County Super Fair is Nebraska’s largest county fair, ten days from late July into early August at the Sandhills Global Event Center, 4100 North 84th Street in Lincoln. The Lancaster County Agricultural Society behind it was established in 1870, making the fair about 155 years old; it opened the event center in 2001 to house the growing fair and completed a ten million dollar modernization with the 2023 rebrand. Admission is five dollars, free for under-fives, with free parking. The grandstand carries truck and tractor pulls, figure-eight races, go-kart racing, a demolition derby and extreme bull riding, alongside a midway, the Great American Ribfest, a free music series every night, a Hispanic festival and full 4-H and open class competition. The 2027 fair runs July 29 to August 7. This is a county fair in Lincoln, entirely separate from the Nebraska State Fair at Grand Island.
