A bar on Nebraska Street in Hubbard, a Dakota County village between Sioux City and Ponca in the far northeast corner of the state. The country here is the Missouri River bluffs rather than the plains, and Ponca State Park — some of the best oak woodland and river overlook in Nebraska — is fifteen minutes east.
