Kottage Knechtion Treehouse

Kottage Knechtion Treehouse is a vacation rental built 18 feet up between two cottonwood trees on a 5-acre property in South Sioux City, booked through Airbnb. Host Darwin Knecht runs the treehouse, and breakfast for two is included at The Koffie Knechtion, the coffee shop his wife Maureen runs on the same property.

The treehouse is built from reclaimed materials and sleeps two in one queen bed. It has a half bath, and guests use a seasonal outdoor shower in the greenhouse from about April through October. The hobbit-themed Covington Hobbitlike Cottage is on the same property.
