Kearney County Fairgrounds is the county fairground for Kearney County, at 404 21st St in Minden. Like most Nebraska fairgrounds it is owned by the county agricultural society and is in use well beyond fair week — rodeos, horse shows, tractor pulls, sales and community events. The 4-H side of the county fair is run by Nebraska Extension in Kearney County, which handles entries, livestock identification and the certification a young person needs before showing an animal. Sources differ over whether the grounds are in town or a mile north on Highway 10.
