The Johnson County Fair is held at Johnson County Fairgrounds Park, 633 North 1st Street in Tecumseh, in mid to late August. Its most distinctive feature is a Sunday evening double parade, a Veterans Parade and the Big Fair Parade, running from downtown Tecumseh out to the fairgrounds. The week also carries carnival rides with armband nights, 4-H exhibitions of youth projects and livestock, grandstand entertainment, an antique tractor pull, a kids rodeo on the Saturday, a Sunday morning church service and the premium livestock sale on Sunday evening.
