The Herb Mignery Sculpture Garden in Bartlett, Nebraska showcases one of the largest displays of bronze statues in the country, with more than 50 bronze sculptures by internationally acclaimed artist Herb Mignery.rnrnMignery was born November 1, 1937 in Bartlett and grew up on the family ranch that has been in operation for over 100 years near Bartlett. He cast his first bronze in 1973 and went on to become one of the most celebrated Western and wildlife sculptors in the nation.rnrnA member of the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America — serving as president from 1992 to 1993 — Mignery was inducted into the Sandhills Cowboys Hall of Fame in 2008. He became a signature member of the National Sculpture Society in 1996 and has contributed Western-themed cartoons to Western Horseman magazine since 1985.rnrnThe sculpture garden surrounding the Wheeler County Courthouse in Bartlett is a testament to his lifelong connection to the Nebraska Sandhills and is a must-see destination along the US-281 corridor.
