Gage County Driver License Office

The Gage County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 612 Grant St, Beatrice. It is open every Monday and Tuesday Monday: 8:15 - 12:00, 12:30 - 4:00 Tuesday: 8:30 - 12:00, 12:30 - 4:00, Monday: 8:15 - 12:00, 12:30 - 4:00; Tuesday: 8:30 - 12:00, 12:30 - 4:00. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 12:30 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are given at this office by appointment; ring 402-471-7983 to arrange one. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Gage County Treasurer at 612 Grant Street, PO Box 519, telephone 402-223-1315 - not at this office.
