Furnas County Fair

The Furnas County Fair is held at the Furnas County Fairgrounds on North 9th Street in Beaver City in mid-July. The 4-H week runs a horse show, a favorite foods revue, poultry and rabbit shows, swine, sheep and goat shows, a livestock judging contest, a beef show, the junior livestock auction and round robin champion showmanship. One quirk of the calendar: the Fashion and Talent Show is held off the fairgrounds at the Southern Valley Auditorium three days after the fair itself has closed.
