Dam Fish Shack

A restaurant on Highway 121 north of Crofton, close to Lewis and Clark Lake and the Gavins Point Dam — the name is a fair description of where it sits and what it is for. This is the stretch of the Missouri where the reservoir backs up behind the dam and the Nebraska shore fills with boats and anglers through the summer. Crofton is the Knox County town four miles south, and the state recreation areas are all within a few minutes.
