Electricity in Central City is supplied by the town rather than by a private company or a rural power district. Connections, billing and outage calls are handled at the city hall, 1515 17th St., P.O. Box 418, on 308-946-3806. Nebraska is the only state where every electricity customer is served by a publicly owned utility, so there are no investor-owned power companies here.
