Butler County Fair

The Butler County Fair is held annually in July at the fairgrounds in David City, the county seat, at 62 L Street. The fair brings together open-class competitions, food, music, and entertainment for the surrounding communities, including Abie, Bruno, Brainard, Dwight, Linwood, Rising City, and Surprise.
