Butler County Driver License Office

The Butler County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 451 N 5th St, David City. It is open every Monday, 9:45 - 4:30. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 4:00 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Butler County Treasurer at 451 North 5 th Street, telephone 402-367-7450 - not at this office.
