The Burt County Missouri River Bridge carries NE 51 and Iowa 175 over the Missouri between Decatur and Onawa, Iowa. The 1,956-foot, 11-span continuous truss was built by the Burt County Bridge Commission in 1950–56 on dry land; the Corps of Engineers diverted the river under it in 1955. It was a toll bridge until November 30, 2013, and is eligible for the National Register. The state plans a replacement bridge just to the north, with the old bridge kept open during construction.
