Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park preserves the ranch and legacy of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, featuring the restored 1886 Mansion on the Prairie and historic outbuildings filled with memorabilia from his career as a Pony Express rider, Army scout, buffalo hunter, and Wild West showman. The park also offers hiking trails and picnicking.

Hours: Park grounds open 8 AM to sunset year-round. Mansion tours May 1-Oct 31, Wednesday-Sunday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM (off-season by appointment).
