Box Butte County Driver License Office

The Box Butte County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at 524 Box Butte Ave, Alliance. It is open every Thursday and Friday, 8:45 - 4:00 (Mountain Time). Drive tests are not given between 11:45 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Box Butte County Treasurer at 515 Box Butte, Suite 201, PO Box 655, telephone 308-762-6975 - not at this office.
