Boone County Driver License Office

The Boone County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 222 S 4th St, Albion. It is open on selected Wednesdays only, 9:00 - 3:30 - the DMV publishes the dates for each year, so check the current list before setting out. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 2:45 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Boone County Treasurer at 222 South 4th Street, telephone 402-395-2513 - not at this office.
