Blue Heron Wildlife Management Area, about 61 acres of Platte valley land managed by Nebraska Game and Parks, is south of the I-80 interchange at Gothenburg (Exit 211). It is open to public hunting and other outdoor use. It is not the same place as the Blue Heron Campground in town.
