Amboy Mill is a historic flour mill beside US 136, about 4.5 miles east of Red Cloud. The concrete, water-powered mill was built in 1915 on Elm Creek to replace an 1876 mill that burned, and it stopped producing flour in the 1940s. It is one of the last remains of the Amboy townsite.
The mill stands about 150 yards north of the highway between the railroad tracks and the creek. It is on private property and is not open to visitors; view it from the highway.
