Adams County Driver License Office

The Adams County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 500 West 4th St, Hastings. It is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 4:30. Drive tests are not given between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 3:30 PM. CDL skills tests are given at this office by appointment; ring 402-471-7983 to arrange one. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Adams County Treasurer at 500 West 4 th Street, Room 106, telephone 402-461-7124 - not at this office.
