Poole is a census-designated place of 22 people (2020) at 2,070 feet on the north side of the South Loup River, about 4 miles southwest of Ravenna.
History
Poole began about 1889 as Poole Siding, named for W. W. Poole, who started a ranch here in 1876. A Poole Siding post office opened in 1892; after a gap it reopened as Poole in 1906 and closed in 1982.
