The Townsley–Murdock Immigrant Trail Site, at the northwest corner of Guenther and Alda roads about a mile and a half south of Alda, is a 2.4-acre piece of prairie that has never been plowed, crossed by the overland emigrant trail along the Platte. It was listed on the National Register on March 5, 1998.
