Bushnell Day has been held in Bushnell since 1974, usually on the third Saturday of August. The 2026 celebration, "Red, White, and Bushnell," on August 15 had a morning parade, a truck show, cow-tongue football and cornhole, the fire department's hog roast and an evening concert at the grain-bin gazebo in Hammond Park.
