Description

This Nebraska historical marker (No. 358), in Memorial Park at NE 4 and 723rd Rd. in Plymouth, tells how Rev. D. E. Jones brought a colony of New England settlers to Cub Creek in 1871–72, and how the town moved north to the Rock Island line in the 1890s. It was erected by the Nebraska State Historical Society, the Jefferson County Historical Society and the Plymouth Centennial Organization.
