Hope, Nebraska

Hope was a rural post office in the central part of Hayes County, about ten miles southeast of Hayes Center.

History

The office was established on 16 February 1888 and discontinued on 11 May 1905, with Wesley Gruver as postmaster at the time of the 1890 gazetteer. Where the name came from was not recorded.
