Eddy was a rural post office in the northeastern part of Hayes County, in the southwest of Nebraska.
History
The post office was established on 18 October 1888 and discontinued on 15 March 1912. The 1890 Nebraska State Gazetteer gives Eddy a population of ten, with Harman Harvey as postmaster. Where the name came from was not recorded at the time and has not been learned since.
