Polk County Driver License Office

The Polk County Driver License Office is run by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles at Courthouse, 400 Hawkeye St, Osceola. It is open The first Tuesday of every month Every subsequent Tuesday of the month, 9:15-12:00, 1:00 - 3:00; 9:15 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:30. Drive tests are not given between 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM, or after 4:00 PM. CDL skills tests are not given here. Business handled here includes new, renewal and replacement driver's licenses, state ID cards, learner's permits, school and farm permits, and written knowledge and drive tests. Vehicle titles and registration are a separate matter, handled by the Polk County Treasurer at Courthouse Square, PO Box 315, telephone 402-747-5441 - not at this office.
