719 Fitness Center – Neligh

719 Fitness Center at 406 Main Street is a far better equipped gym than a town of 1,500 has any right to expect. Seth and Shelby Snodgrass opened it in December 2015, naming it for their wedding anniversary, and Dan and Jenny Murray bought it in January 2024. Around 170 members, aged from 12 to 86 and drawn from the surrounding towns as well as Neligh, hold 24-hour access through a phone app; non-members can pay to use it during staffed hours, which are Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 6:30pm. Inside there are treadmills, ellipticals, rowers and a Stairmaster, weight machines, free weights, kettlebells and medicine balls, a boxing and kickboxing room, a tanning bed, an infrared sauna and a cold plunge. Three trainers run staffed classes, Cassie Sprague takes massage appointments on Fridays, Shelby Snodgrass still offers personal training and prenatal and postpartum programs, and there is a shake bar during staffed hours.
